He...The Pageflakes widget is called Message Board. Here's how to use it:

1. On Pageflakes, create an empty public Pagecast.
2. Load the Message Board flake.
3. Click Take Flake on the envelope icon at the upper right hand corner of the flake.
4. Adjust size to your specifications, then copy code.
5. On Netvibes, start an HTML widget.
6. Drop the Message Board code into the HTML widget and save.
7. Viola, you're done.

My understanding is that the code clones the original Pageflakes flake, and that the two of them sync and can be updated from either location. You'll need to keep the source flake and pagecast live on Pageflakes in order to get it to run on Netvibes as well.

This functionality has been around since summer 2007 and is over six months ahead of what Netvibes is trying to do with Ginger. Pageflakes customer service is great at helping if you need any further instructions.

The only problem I've noticed to date is that the embedded flakes don't run in Safari. You can see an embedded flake in action on my pagecast:

http://www.netvibes.com/cfoley68#GeneralChris Foleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05248396106719265480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4635600137768119485.post-48711251745235843732008-01-26T17:54:00.000+00:002008-01-26T17:54:00.000+00:00Hi Chris,Just checked pageflakes is the widget cal...Hi Chris,

Just checked pageflakes is the widget called Notepad ?
Can you use it without being registred with pageflakes?
