Hi,
I am looking for a way to let my "Friends" leave a short message directly in my Netvibes Universe.
Do you know any widget or any other solution ?
Would prefer not to have to register or login to anything.
Perhaps, just a password should be requested...

Pageflakes has a comment widget that works in any platform--just use the Take Flake function and plug it into a Netvibes html widget.
Hi Chris,
Thank you for the advice!
I will try it asap.
Are using also Netvibes ?
Hi Chris,
Just checked pageflakes is the widget called Notepad ?
Can you use it without being registred with pageflakes? I mean can you save your comments with it for later vision?
Let me know...
The Pageflakes widget is called Message Board. Here's how to use it:
1. On Pageflakes, create an empty public Pagecast.
2. Load the Message Board flake.
3. Click Take Flake on the envelope icon at the upper right hand corner of the flake.
4. Adjust size to your specifications, then copy code.
5. On Netvibes, start an HTML widget.
6. Drop the Message Board code into the HTML widget and save.
7. Viola, you're done.
My understanding is that the code clones the original Pageflakes flake, and that the two of them sync and can be updated from either location. You'll need to keep the source flake and pagecast live on Pageflakes in order to get it to run on Netvibes as well.
This functionality has been around since summer 2007 and is over six months ahead of what Netvibes is trying to do with Ginger. Pageflakes customer service is great at helping if you need any further instructions.
The only problem I've noticed to date is that the embedded flakes don't run in Safari. You can see an embedded flake in action on my pagecast:

Oops. Didn't answer one of your questions...
You'll need to be a registered Pageflakes user in order to do all this stuff.
One more thing--you can probably embed nearly any Pageflakes widget in this fashion, although functionally speaking, you'll probably only want to do it with widgets that Netvibes doesn't have yet (such as Message Board).
Hi Chris,
Thanks, I was on the wrong widget. I used now the message Board.
But yours on your Universe is much better (for the settings) so I will go there and get it!
Thanks.
Ps: I left You a message down there.
